Once upon a
time, there was a scientist named Carl Johnson. He lived in a peaceful city
together with his family. He was a tall and physically fit man who was always
hot-tempered. He was also an introvert which was why he didn’t have that much
friends. Every day, he would go to his laboratory office and start mixing
substances to sell in case it’s useful for everyday lives.
He was the CEO of
his company and he did what common scientists do. He was a very well-known
scientist during that time. He was known worldwide. But one day, while he was
experimenting lava with some sort of acid, it suddenly exploded and the
solution spilled on his face. He was brought to the hospital by his co-worker
named Neil Bart who was one of his closest friends. After hearing of this, his
whole family got really depressed that time. Their days were full of sadness.
Because of what happened, he needed to stay in the hospital for about three
months. Of course, his family and friends were so worried. But one day, the
heart monitor stopped working, which means he’s dead. Surprisingly, he was
awake and was really energetic for some reason. His hair turned into flames due
to the solution that spilled on him. As he held the handle of the car, it
melted since he was very hot. The citizens knew about him and so called him
Heat Wave.
His closest
friend, Neil Bart, was really envious for Carl was getting too much attention
from the crowd. That’s why he planned and started making experiments on what
can overcome the power of fire. He came up with the so called super power name
Freezo. Since ice was the one that can take out or oppose of fire, he came up
with this.
A few days later, he started making his suit and tried
to make it look better than Carl’s. While Neil was doing his work, Carl on the
other hand was looking for a place to stay wherein no one would be able to find
him. He was flying while looking for one since, after the solution spilled, he
then had the ability to fly.
Neil was trying
to work on his suit and he eventually finished it. It looked really good and
was way better than Heat Wave’s. As Neil showed himself to the citizens, he
quickly caught everyone’s attention. He even went to a newscaster and, in front
of the camera, he introduced himself to the world saying: ”I am Freezo, Heat Wave’s arch enemy.” Heat Wave heard
about what he said and so, one day, Heat Wave showed up as brave and confident
as possible. He wanted to show Feezo how tough he was. He also wanted Freezo to
know that he’s not a coward.
From behind,
Freezo got him and locked him up in a safe house. No one saw this incident
except for one lady who’s roughly about 20. She saw what happened. And one day,
while Freezo was doing his own business, that girl named Hageanne who witnessed
the incident went in that safe house and saved Heat Wave’s life. Hageanne is a
psychiatrist and was surprisingly Carl’s childhood friend. They were really
close back then. It’s just that they didn’t recognize each other. They talked
and told each other both of their status in life now. Carl slowly liked the
girl. The girl also liked him in some way.
They always met at Heat Wave’s secret place. They became really
close friends, like how they used to be when they were kids until one day, they
had a mutual understanding. Surprisingly, Carl’s flames and all the heat in his
body slowly came off. He became less irritated with people. He easily calmed
down and he didn’t get mad as easily as before. He didn’t have mood swings and
he didn’t get mad for no reason anymore. Now he knew that the cure for his
peculiar sickness was true love.
Well, what happened to Freezo was that he gave up. Basically, after
Hageanne helped Carl escape the safe house and after Freezo found out, he felt
bad. He thought that there would always be someone who would be Carl. That Carl
would always be more dominant and better than he was. Which is why, in the end,
he gave up and started being an employee in another company since Carl
obviously won’t let him work in his company anymore after all he did.
A few years later, Carl Johnson and Hageanne got married and lived
together. They also had children. And they lived happily ever after!
