Super Brent

                Once upon a time, there lived a very playful boy named Brent Lockwood. He was very sweet and academic. He loved his parents so much. He was not just an ordinary little boy because he thought like older boys.

                He watched his favorite cartoon show, AmazingMan, everyday. He always dreamed to be a superhero like AmazingMan. AmazingMan inspired him to be a great superhero. And every time at home, he dressed up like AmazingMan so he can be a superhero. His mom acted like a victim and his dad acted like the villain. At the end, when had saved his mom and killed his dad, his parents shout happily and say: “Yehey! Super Brent saved the day!” After playing, it’s dinnertime. After dinner, Brent watched AmazingMan before sleeping.

                AmazingMan was a cartoon show. It was a story about how an ordinary little kid became a superhero. AmazinMan fought with his villain differently than other superheroes. He could slow down time so that he could find the weakness of his opponent. His hands were as hard as steel so that he could make a power punch! But his most special power was he could distract his opponent by making them stare at him.

                Brent was a really big fan of AmazingMan. Because of that, he had a costume, shirt, bag, DVD’s, and many more about AmazingMan. Everytime he saw something about AmazingMan, he bought it.

                He lived his daily life normally and still dreamt to be like AmazingMan until he grew older and slowly forgot about AmazingMan. He started to totally forget about AmazingMan after college since he started to look for a job. Finally, he found a job. He worked for a toy distributor. He worked there for many years.

                After few more years working, he heard from his best friend in his job that there will be old cartoon character action figures and DVDs that will be sold again. He suddenly remembered about AmazingMan, so he asked his friend if there will be action figures and DVD’s of AmazingMan. His friend excitedly, because he is also a fan of AmazingMan, answered him that there will be action figures and DVDs of AmazingMan.

                After hearing that his friend also likes AmazingMan, Brent and his friend grew closer. They talked about AmazingMan everyday while working. Both of them were excitedly waiting for the release of the action figure and DVD’s of their favorite childhood cartoon so that they could buy it and watch the DVDs together.

                Finally the release of the action figures and DVDs had come, but Brent and his friend were still stuck at work because their Saturday shift is until 11pm. They could not buy the action figures and DVDs in the factory because their boss didn’t allow employees to buy there. They had to wait until the next day which was Sunday, their day off, so that they could buy it from the mall.

                They went to the mall around 3 pm and they were afraid that the action figures and DVDs will be sold out because the amount of the action figures and DVDs were only limited because it was very famous back in their time.

                When they arrived at the store, it was very crowded and the lines were so long, so they had to wait for hours. After the long line, they finally got to the stall where the action figures and DVDs of AmazingMan were displayed and saw only one action figure and sold out DVDs. Brent told his friend that he could get the last piece of the action figure. He happily and sadly, at the same time, agreed.

                After buying the last action figure, they went to eat. While eating, Brent heard a conversation behind him and their voices were similar to his parents. Girl voice: “I am very sure that Brent will like our present for him!” and the Boy voice answered: “Yes! Sure, he will! This is his all time favorite!” After hearing them talking, Brent checked behind him and saw his parents. He went near them and they got surprised. He happily asked what present they are giving him. They showed him their gift and WALAH! One action figure and one DVD of AmazingMan! He happily thanked his parents. His parents told him and his friend to join them to eat.

                That night, Brent and his friend went to his apartment. They watched the DVD together. After hours of watching, his friend decided to go home, but it was late already and it was also raining very hard so Brent asked his friend if he wanted to sleep at his apartment. Besides, Brent has an extra bed for him. His friend agreed and they continued watching the DVD.

                It was very late already and Brent was still awake and watching while his friend was already asleep. Brent started to remember his childhood when he dreamed to be like AmazingMan. He was imagining that he could still be a superhero someday. After few minutes, it started to rain hard again. Then, a lightning struck the antenna of the TV and it also hit Brent.

                He remained unconscious until the next morning. When he woke up, he felt something different. It was like he has super powers but he could not identify what it was. He told his friend about what happened yesterday when he got shocked. His friend said that he can be a superhero and save the world but they first have to find out what his powers were.

                They kept Brent’s story a secret until they found out what his powers were. They were researching some super powers that a normal guy could have. They got distracted from work so they decided to quit work because they thought being a superhero was better. Now they are pursuing to discover what Brent’s super powers were.

                One day, they were walking down the street and saw a thief trying to steal from a lady. His friend told him that this was already his chance for him to be superhero. Brent went near the thief and stopped him. The thief got pissed and punched Brent but he dodged it. After that, his mind and body suddenly acted like AmazingMan. He slowed down the time and found the thief’s weakness and he power punched the thief like what AmazingMan did to his enemy. After that, his friend called the cops and they arrested the thief.

                After that day, Brent started to make his own costume and it looked like AmazingMan’s costume. His friend became his manager and somehow sidekick. In every fight that he gets into, he finds a new power that he has. And that is the start of a new superhero named SUPERBRENT!
