The Power inside Me

                One day, a baby boy who bears a great power inside him, which is more powerful than any of their kind, was born. They say there is a legend about the baby. He will bear a power that is far greater than what they have ever seen. However, he is not immortal. When the parents hear about this, they don’t trust anybody anymore except their true loved ones. The parents and their loved ones work together to fight the people who want to kill the baby whose name is Edward Michael Great.

                Edward has a fun but also scary life. He is always trained by his parents. His aunties, uncles, godparents and grandparents always watch him. His family really has a tight bond. They let him have fun. As for his education, he is home schooled to keep him away from danger. He also does some sports so he is athletic.

                Even though he has a fun life, he always sees dead bodies ahead of him while he is being covered by his loved ones. He sometimes can’t control his power and ends up attacking his loved ones. He is afraid of his powers because of the incidents that happened.

                One day, a tragic event occurred. When he woke up, nobody was there. He went to the training room and there he saw everyone dead. He quickly went to his parents and checked if they were still alive. His mom told him that he should take care of himself and be safe. His father told him to gather all the people who were still alive and to protect one another. After that, their pulse and their breathing stopped. Edward was completely stunned and started crying. He stayed with his parents and the next day he burned his family to ashes. He also was not scared of his powers anymore.

                The next day, he quickly packed food, water, clothes and weapons. He called out his pet named Bolt. Bolt can see through things, which was really a help to Edward. Edward let him find a scroll which has the names of the people who are still alive and have special powers. The scroll also consists of a branch of their kind, a map of all the secret facilities that can help them, and a safe place where they can stay. Bolt found it and it gave so much information to them. The first person they needed to find was Kate.

They first went to the first secret facility; there they found Kate. Kate has the power of her great grandfather which is nature, like wind, water, earth and fire. She could be a great help because she has a book that can teach them how to improve their powers. This can help different kinds of powers. They moved forward to their next destination.

                They went over different kinds of obstacles. They fought the villain’s slaves. They were having difficulties at first but got over it as they went. They found two people in their destination named Styles and Scott. Styles and Scott are siblings and have amazing powers. Styles has the power of metal, which he can control and even become one. Scott has the power of wood, which he can make and become one. They were also a help because they saw the villain, but not his face. They sketched it out for them. Edward thought it seems familiar but he couldn’t recognize it at all.

                Their next stop was surrounded by enemies. Edward, Kate, Scott, and Styles went after them. They helped each other by communicating, like telling where the enemy’s position was. They finally ended the fight, but one of the enemies got away and told the villain what happened. They quickly went in and shouted if anyone was there. A kid ran and told them to help her little sister. They quickly went to the little sister and stitched her wound. After that they told their name. The kid’s name is Allison and her power is to help people recover their memory. The younger sister’s name is Mary and her power is to heal people. Even though her power is amazing, there is a consequence, she can’t heal anyone if she’s injured. Her body is still small so she can only heal minor damages.

                Kate asked Allison if it was okay for her to try recovering Edward’s memory and Allison said yes. She went to Edward and she put her hand on Edward’s head. While she was doing this, her eyes glowed so bright that no one even dared to look at her. Allison discovered something unusual in his memory. One guy’s face can’t seem to clear up, it’s blurry. They identified his lips, nose and hair, but not the eyes. This helped them have more information about the villain.

                Their last destination can’t be found even though one person’s name is still on the map. They went to different kinds of places just to find the guy. Their last option to go was Alveran. Alveran was a dangerous place. It was where the outrageous battles were held. When they went in, the big doors completely shut, which scared all of them by leaving a scary echoing sound.

Suddenly, a person said, “Well, well, well, look at all of your faces.”

“You all look pretty scared!” he added

“Who are you?” Edward asked

“I am the person who killed all your loved ones,” he answered

“Why are you doing this?” Edward asked

“……,” the villain didn’t answer.

                The lights went out. They all shouted, “Let go of me!” while they were being taken away by the slaves. They were too noisy so the slaves hit their heads to shut them up.

                All of them opened their eyes and saw that they were in a battle zone. When they looked up, they saw the villain.

The villain said, “I see that you can’t seem to find the last living person on your map.”

“Right, his name is Asher,” he said

“Well, you are looking at him right now!!!” he shouted  with a laugh at the end.

Their faces were filled with anger, especially Edward.

Edward said, “I’m going to kill you!!!!!!” with a growl at the end.

Edward said, “How could you do this?!”

Asher said, “I want to be the most powerful person in the world so I could rule the world!”

Style shouted, “That’s all?!”

Scott shouted, “You suck!!”

Allison asked, “Then why did you let us live?”

Asher shouted, “All of you be quiet!!!!”

After a dead silence the villain said, “I let you live so when you evolve your powers , I can absorb it.”

                The villain put everyone in a cage where they can’t use their powers and their powers can be absorbed. Edward called out Bolt from his pocket. Bolt quickly released Edward with his cute small hands while Asher was not looking. Edward went to the others and released them sneakily while the villain was getting ready for his project. The others finally got out.

                When they got out, they hurriedly attacked the villain. The villain slowed down time and attacked them. The villain punched them and their bodies flew and created a big sound when they fell into the ground. Even though they wanted to recover, they couldn’t because Mary was injured and only Edward recovered because he heals fast. As soon as he recovered, he quickly attacked the villain but Asher slowed down time again. The others also attacked but were stopped. They are now poisoned and punched back many times. Edward found a way to counteract it by running faster than ever before. As long as he did that he went to the same time as Asher. Asher was amazed when Edward beat him up with his fire. He found this strategy by going back in time and seeing how Asher did it. He used his time of recovery to travel back in time. Asher was going to attack once again but Edward told everyone to hold hands since they were going to travel back in time. Edward brought them to the time Asher was going to attack them once again. They all hit Asher with their greatest power of all.

                They won and killed Asher and his slaves. They lived happily ever after, but what you might not know is that the dead people who seem to be alive are after them. They are called…
